FARMINGTON — A Franklin County justice sentenced a Readfield man on Friday to four years in prison, all of which was suspended, and two years probation on a charge of unlawful furnishing of heroin. He also has to pay a $5,000 fine.
Shaun Le, 29, and his attorney, Sean Farris reached agreement with Assistant Attorney General David Fisher on the case.
That agreement dismissed three other charges of unlawful trafficking in scheduled drugs, unlawful possession of oxycodone and unlawful possession of a scheduled drug.
The agreement reflects Le’s conduct since the 2008 arrest and his efforts to become drug free, Fisher said.
Justice Michaela Murphy said she accepted the agreement due to Le’s extraordinary effort to take control of his drug problem and because he underwent a rigorous substance abuse program.
