LEWISTON — Joyce E. Wiers, 83, passed away on Friday, June 25, at d’Youville Pavilion, after a long illness, with her loving family by her side.
She was born Dec. 2, 1926, the daughter of Charles and Bernice Thompson of Pittsfield. She grew up in St. Albans.
She is survived by two sons, Dwayne Wiers and wife, Toni, of Auburn and Darrell Wiers and wife, Linda, of Lewiston; three grandchildren, Tobey Wiers and wife, Amy, of Auburn, Kim Nicholas and husband, Greg, of Lewiston and Chris Wiers and wife, Jessica, of Auburn; and great-grandchildren, Britney and Corey Wiers and Tyler and Kaitelyn Nicolas.
