HARRISON — Harrison Old Home Days will kick off at at 5:30 p.m. Wednesday, July 7. Activities will run through Saturday, July 10.

Highlights for July 7 include a 5K “Run by the Lake” at 7 p.m. and a performance by the new local funk/rock band, Skosh, playing music from the 1950s to today, on the Old Home Days stage. Fireworks will be held over Crystal Lake, with a rain date of Thursday, July 8.

On July 8, the second annual Cruise Night will begin at 6 p.m. in the parking lot between the library and town office. Entertainment on the stage will begin at 7 p.m.

The Junior Parade will take place on July 9, with four categories: walkers, bicycles/tricycles, doll carriages and wagons/floats. Registration will be at 5:30 p.m. at the United Parish Congregational Church parking lot. The parade will begin at 6 p.m. and will proceed down Main Street to Long Lake Park where ribbons and treats will be distributed. Friday’s entertainment will be the country band, Country Ridge Riders, beginning at 8 p.m.

A breakfast buffet will be served from 7:30 to 9:30 a.m. Saturday, July 10, at the church, across from Crystal Lake Park. A Wild West reenactment will take place in the afternoon, and after the Grand Parade, antique autos will be on display in the United Parish Congregational Church parking lot. Smokey’s Midway will also open after the parade. The Lions Club will offer a seafood feast beginning at 5 p.m.

Each evening, the Harrison Old Home Days food booth will open at 5:30. The Raffle Booth will open at 6 p.m. and raffle drawings will take place every hour on the hour beginning at 7 p.m. All tickets will be eligible for the grand prize drawing, to be held at 10:30 p.m. on Saturday. Raffle prizes are all donated by local businesses.

A 50/50 drawing will take place at 10:30 p.m. each evening.

Advance ride tickets are now available at the Market Basket and Village Tie-Up. Brochures are available at local stores and restaurants.
