AUBURN — Rolande Blouin 84, of Bowdoinham Road, Sabattus, died Friday, July 2, with her family at her side at The Hospice House of Androscoggin Home Care and Hospice.

She was born in Sabattus on Oct. 27, 1925, a daughter of the late Henry and Alexina (Lepage) Guerrette. She worked for 30 years at Knapp Shoe as a stitcher. She then went on to work for Dr. Wolf’s office for six years doing visual fields. Rolande married Albert A. Blouin on June 11, 1949, he predeceased her in 1998. She enjoyed playing cards, knitting, sewing, crafts, bingo, baking and cooking, but most of all she looked forward to family gatherings.

She leaves a son, Daniel Blouin and his wife, Susan, of Lewiston; two daughters, Sonia Fontaine and her husband, Michael, of Chandler Ariz., and Cindy Morin and her husband, Michael, of Sabattus; a sister, Joline Morton and her husband, Robert, of Florida; a brother, Robert Guerette and his wife, Claudette, of Lewiston; seven grandchildren, Scott, Jason, Michael and Matthew Blouin, Lori Johnson, Joshua and Timothy Morin; and 10 great-grandchildren.

She was predeceased by four sisters, Fernande Nadeau, Yvette Bernier, Lezianne Caron and Lucienne Tardif; a brother, Lucien Guerrette; and a great-granddaughter, Karley Blouin.
