MOUNT VERNON — The Mount Vernon-Vienna Maine Extension Homemakers Council will host a Home and Garden Tour from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday, July 17, featuring 10 sites. Tour tickets are $12 each.

The tour ticket includes a brief description of the site and driving directions. Prior purchase of tickets is encouraged for review and planning. Tickets are available at Longfellow’s in Manchester, The Calico Patch in Farmington and the Mount Vernon Country Store. The morning of the tour, tickets will be on sale from 9 a.m. to noon at the Mount Vernon Community Center and the North Vienna United Methodist Church on Tower Road, Vienna.

A reservation-only luncheon will be served from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the North Vienna United Methodist Church, featuring musical entertainment by John Pino and Dale Perkins. The luncheon tickets are $8 and include a choice of chicken salad or vegetable quiche with salad, drink and dessert. For reservations, contact Charlene at 293-3150.

The Extension Homemakers are a nonprofit organization; proceeds from the tour will also benefit the Garden Club and the North Vienna United Methodist Church.
