OWLS HEAD, Maine (AP) — Maine drug investigators have arrested the operator of a methadone clinic in Rockland.
Maine Drug Enforcement Agency Director Roy McKinney said drug agents, assisted by Rockland Police, sheriff’s deputies and state police, arrested Angel Fuller-McMahan on Tuesday.
He says Fuller-McMahan, who’s 42, was taken into custody after conducting a drug deal in a parking lot. He says agents seized about an ounce of cocaine hidden in her pants, along with hypodermic needles.
Fuller-McMahan, who was freed on bail, is the licensed operator and owner of the Turning Tide Methadone Clinic in Rockland. There was no telephone listing for her in Owls Head, where she lives.
