The staff at Ellis River Riders in Andover said they had a successful holiday weekend beginning with a game show on July 2. An open show was held on July 3, including both English and Western riders. All events had a great turnout, they said. A pleasure trail ride was held on July 4. As usual, the events were free to spectators with ample parking. The food in the Feedbag Food Booth included several homemade desserts. The next game show will be held on Saturday, Aug. 7, beginning at 6 p.m. An open show will be on Sunday, Aug. 8, beginning at 9 a.m. Stacey Scotia is pictured during the recent event.
