FARMINGTON — Staff at the Franklin County Animal Shelter said Alice is a fun-loving kitty cat with charm coming out of her whiskers. The most unique trait about Alice is that she is technically a black and white cat, but at closer look, Alice has stripes and dots in her black fur.

They said she is beautiful and her outward appearance reflects her inner beauty as well. She loves to snuggle and will cuddle right up under a person’s chin. Anyone looking for an unique looking cat with an exceptional attitude should come and check out Alice, they said.

New dogs at the shelter include a husky mix found in Farmington and two puppies left overnight in the shelter’s outdoor pens.

Shelter staff will be at Tractor Supply on Saturday, July 17, giving cat and dog nail trims. Cost will be $5 each animal and donations will be accepted. For more information, contact the Franklin County Animal Shelter at 778-2638.
