NORWAY — The Norway Memorial Library will host a talk by Lindsay Sterling at 7 p.m. Tuesday, July 20, called “Immigrant Kitchens: What I Learned About Cooking and the Whole Wide World.”

Sterling is a food writer and professional cook from Freeport. She writes a blog called “Immigrant Kitchens,” about cooking with people who teach her how to prepare favorite foods from their homelands. Sterling will also read from the book she’s currently writing called “Smuggling Cheese in a Suitcase.”

The program is a companion to the library’s summer book discussion series called “Food and Culture.” It is open to the public and free of charge. For information about the program, call the library at 743-5309 or visit www.norway.lib.me.us.
