AUBURN — Central Maine Community College will offer “Supervising People: the Essential Skills for Leaders.” The five-part series will be held from 9 a.m. to noon Tuesdays, Aug. 3 to 31. The cost is $315 and includes workbooks and materials.

The program will help managers, supervisors and team leaders identify communication barriers, performance issues and will provide tools to deal with difficult employees.

In the interactive program, participants will to learn how to address the difficult issues and improve team productivity. Topics will include communication, coaching for improved performance, handling difficult employees, team-building  and team problem solving.
