Gagnon

WINTHROP — A surprise party was held recently for James and Roberta Gagnon of Winthrop on the occasion of their 50th wedding anniversary. The event was planned by their children and was held Oct. 24 at Montello Heights Adult Living Complex.

A DVD was shown of the past 50 years and was put together by their granddaughter, Erica. A frame with mat was displayed for everyone to sign. The cake was made by their daughter, Penny.

Mr. Gagnon and the former Roberta Burnham were married Dec. 25, 1959 in Leeds. Their children are Debbie, Penny, Wendy, Diane, Jim Jr., April, Dominique, Michael and Roberta Jr., who died April 1, 1989. Their grandchildren are David Jr., Dawn and Darlene Perry, Erica and Chris Lavigne, Tiffany and Courtney Bolding, Paige Chadbourne, Anishia, Kayla, Felicia and Jamie Gagnon, Jonathan Gagnon and Josiah James.

Mrs. Gagnon was a homemaker. Mr. Gagnon worked at Bancroft and Martin as a truck driver and also worked at Reynolds Tree Experts.
