LEWISTON — Priscilla A. Roy, 88, recently of Schooner Estates, Stetson Road, Auburn, died Friday, Aug. 6, at Russell Park Manor in Lewiston after a short illness.

Born in Lewiston on Jan. 14, 1922, she was the daughter of Joseph and Clara (Boutin) Roberge. Educated at St. Peter’s School, she worked for 20 years as an inspector at Pepperell Manufacturing Co.

On Oct. 9, 1954, she married Henry C. Roy. Mr. Roy passed away on March 5, 1987.

Mrs. Roy was a member of Holy Family and St. Joseph’s Catholic Churches, Lewiston.

She enjoyed playing cards and bingo, doing word puzzles, listening to music, and cherished the  time spent with her grandchildren.

Survivors include two daughters, Constance Roy Storer of Vernon Hills, Ill., and Helene Roy of Gorham; three sons, Normand and wife, Victoria, of Lewiston, Paul and wife, Jeannine, of Lewiston, and Raymond and wife, Judy, of Turner; six grandchildren, Jennifer, Jason, Matthew, Rebecca, Tamara and Sara Roy; and various nephews and nieces.

Besides her parents and husband, she was predeceased by three brothers, Gerard, Fernand and Robert Roberge; three sisters, Lucinda (Emile) Bousquet, Anita (Oscar) Samson, Lorette (Gerard) Laliberte and Constance (Adrien) Laverdiere; and one niece, Muriel (Robert) Dubois.
