AUBURN — Jean Priscilla (Roy) Kroitzsh, 66, of Hebron, died Monday, Aug. 9, at the Hospice House, surrounded by her loving family. She was the loving wife of James R. Kroitzsh, with whom she shared 42 years of marriage and the daughter of Yvette L. (Lemelin) Roy and the late Jean-Paul D. Roy.

Born in Salem, Mass., she was a graduate of St. Joseph Academy, Salem, Mass., Class of 1962. After graduating, she attended Essex Agricultural and Technical School of Hathorne, Mass., where she obtained her license in cosmetology. She also attended John Robert Powers and Bryant Stratton Secretarial Schools, both of Boston, Mass.

She had been a resident of Hebron since 1999, and prior to that lived in Greenland, N.H. She worked in the family orchard and pie business in both New Hampshire and Maine. Her greatest joy was the time she spent with her children and grandchildren and traveling, camping and fishing with her husband in their motor home. She was a member of the Oxford Hills Chamber of Commerce and the Maine State Pomological Society.

Besides her husband, James, she is survived by her mother, Yvette L. (Lemelin) Roy of Wenham, Mass.; her daughter, Heather J. Kroitzsh of Hebron; two sons, Steven J. Kroitzsh of Milton Plantation and Kenneth R. Kroitzsh and his wife, Michelle, of Rye, N.H.; two grandchildren, Morgan and Jordan Kroitzsh of Rye, N.H.; and many nieces, nephews and cousins. She was the sister of Richard A. Roy of Thousand Palms, Calif., Claudette (Roy) Bean of Danvers, Mass., and Doris (Roy) Gallant of Wenham, Mass.; and her beloved dog, Bailey.
