FARMINGTON — A single-vehicle, rollover accident Wednesday afternoon left the driver uninjured but facing a charge of driving to endanger.
David Macie, 24, of Livermore Falls was driving west on Lucy Knowles Road when he passed three vehicles at a high rate of speed and couldn’t negotiate the curve at the intersection with the Whittier Road, over-corrected and flipped the vehicle, according to Farmington Police officer Michael Adcock. The car landed on its roof.
Macie was driving a 1998 Chevy Cavalier that was later towed by Dutch Gap Auto. Police estimate there was $5,000 in damages to the vehicle.
He crawled out of the vehicle and said he wasn’t hurt.
Police charged him with driving to endanger.
