SEBAGO — Sean Mencher and the Rhythm Kings will perform Friday, Aug. 20, at Schoolhouse Arts Center.

The five-piece combo blends rock ‘n’ roll, western swing, bluegrass, jazz, blues and rockabilly. The ensemble performs an assortment of original songs blended with American standards and classics.

Mencher leads with his unique thumb-pickin’ guitar style of boogie and swing that has taken him from Carnegie Hall to appearances on “Conan O’Brien, NBC” and at Lincoln Center.

Other band members are Kris Day on upright string bass, Mark Cousins on drums, Jay Termini on acoustic rhythm guitar and Zach Ovington on fiddle.

The concert will begin at 7:30 p.m. Tickets are $10 per person, $25 per family up to four people and $5 for each additional person. Schoolhouse Arts Center is on Route 114. Call 642-3743 or log on to www.schoolhousearts.org for more information.
