LISBON – Simonne Poulin, 93, passed away on Aug. 10, at the Lamp in Lisbon.

Born on Feb. 11, 1917, in Alberta, Canada, she was the daughter of Edward and Laurentia Leblanc Grondin. She was educated in Lisbon schools and graduated from Lisbon High School in 1934.

On Sept. 17, 1938, she married Lionel A. Poulin at St. Anne’s Church in Lisbon. She was a member of Holy Trinity Parish, St. Anne’s Church in Lisbon. She enjoyed sewing, traveling, playing cards and spending time with her family.

She was predeceased by her husband, Lionel A. Poulin; two sisters, Irene Grondin and Juliette Grondin Earle; and two brothers, Laurier and Paul Grondin.

She is survived by a brother, Robert Grondin and wife, Priscilla; a daughter, Christine Poulin Hamel and husband, Robert, of Auburn; and a son, Richard Poulin and wife, Carol, of Scarborough; two grandchildren, Teri Poulin Hodgdon and Lisa Poulin of Scarborough; and great-grandson, Kenneth Hodgdon also of Scarborough.
