Army Reserve Spec. Marshall L. Hiscock is returning to the U.S. after a deployment to Iraq or Afghanistan in support of Operations Iraqi Freedom or Enduring Freedom, respectively.

The soldiers will return to Fort Dix, N.J. for debriefing, evaluations and out-processing procedures before returning to their regularly assigned Army Reserve or National Guard units.

The specialist served in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom in the Iraq Theater of Operations.

Hiscock, a motor transport operator, is a member of the 619th Transportation Company, Auburn. He has served in the military for four years.

He is the son of Frank P. Hiscock of Wewahitchka, Fla., and Pamela M. Sanipas of Lewiston. His wife, Crystal, is the daughter of Ronald Larrivee of Lewiston.

In 1998, Hiscock graduated from Jay High School and received an associate degree in 2001 from Southern Maine Community College.
