AUBURN — Richard “Richie” Irvine Bragdon, 54, passed away Aug. 6, after a long courageous battle with kidney failure and cancer at the Hospice House.

He was born April 30, 1956, son of Leroy and Ruby Bragdon. Richie married Pauline Turmenne on July 28, 1990. He enjoyed fishing, classic cars, and making people laugh.

He worked in construction for many years for Pratt and Sons Construction.

Richie is survived by his wife, Pauline (Turmenne) Bragdon; his father, Leroy of Yarmouth; seven sisters, Lois Towle of Lewiston, Louise Pelletier and companion, Bob Dubois, of Waterboro, Candy McCluskey and husband, Keith, of Lisbon, Janice Coburn and companion, Leon Kimball, of Wales, Cathy Proctor and husband, Mark, of Lisbon, Lisa Proctor and husband, Jerry, of Lisbon, and their families; four brothers, Leroy Bragdon Jr. of Lewiston, Harold Bragdon and wife, Yvonne, of Oxford, Gerald Bragdon and wife, Cindy, of Yarmouth, Alfred Bragdon and wife, Judy, of Farmington, N.H., and their families; his six children, Willard Allen of Otisfield, N.Y., Rachel Bragdon and companion. Joe Annaloro. of Norway, Richard Bragdon Jr. and companion. Tiffany. of Parsonsfield, Nathan Bragdon of Norway, David DeVoe of Lewiston and Crystal DeVoe and companion. Chris Greeley. of North Monmouth; and nine grandchildren. He will also be missed dearly by his faithful canine companion Rufus.

He was predeceased by his mother, Ruby Bragdon in 2002.
