LEWISTON — The Androscoggin County Chamber of Commerce will host Business After Hours on Aug. 19 from 5 to 7 p.m. in the tent at Simard-Payne Memorial Park (formerly Railroad Park), on Oxford Street in Lewiston. The meeting is sponsored by the chamber and Young Professionals of the Lewiston-Auburn area.
Chamber staff and YPLAA members will be collecting donations for Sandcastle Clinical and Educational Services. Needed items are: construction paper, glue, glue sticks, water color paints, washable markers, paint, finger paint, bubbles, playground balls, water toys, buckets and shovels, sand toys, stickers, socks, underwear for boys and girls sizes 2-4, pens, chalk, clear shoe box size bins and laminating sheets.
Those who care to donate such items may bring them to the chamber office, 415 Lisbon St., or bring them to the Business After Hours meeting.
As usual, food, prizes and fellowship with friends and colleagues will be available at the meeting. Business After Hours does not require advance registration.
