NORWAY — Healthy Oxford Hills will sponsor a Retail Beverage Service Training Program from 8:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 7, at the Norway Town Office. Registration will begin at 8.
The training program is approved by the State of Maine and will be presented by Frank Lyons of BC Consultants. Lyons spent 23 years as a Liquor Enforcement Officer and is a certified instructor with the Maine Criminal Justice Academy.
The training is geared toward owners, managers and employees of alcohol sellers, and will cover false identification detection and carding policy, alcoholism and how alcohol affects the body, signage rules and regulations, the Maine Liquor Liability Act and other information for employees and owners.
