BRUNSWICK — Maine State Music Theatre will present an interactive, musically driven children’s version of “Alice in Wonderland” on Tuesday and Wednesday, Aug. 24-25. The show retells the story of young Alice as she travels through the mysterious Wonderland, meeting the most interesting of characters and getting caught up in the stickiest of situations.
Shows on Aug. 25 are sold out. For tickets to the 10 a.m. performance on Aug. 24, call 725-8769, log on to www.msmt.org or visit the box office at Pickard Theatre on the Bowdoin College campus.
“Alice in Wonderland” was written by Marc Robin, director of MSMT’s “Spamalot,” and Curt Dale Clark, who played Billy Flynn in “Chicago” and currently plays Sir Galahad in “Spamalot.”
As usual with children’s shows, on-stage actors will ask audience members to participate.
