WILTON — Thomas J., 90, formerly of Scituate, passed away surrounded by his family on Aug. 20.

Loving husband of 66 years to Dorothy (Downey), he was a veteran of World War II, serving with the U.S. Army.

A self-made man, he worked at Boston Edison and retired at 70 as construction inspector. He was a Grand Knight of Scituate K of C (No. 3716). He enjoyed boating and spent many a sunset sailing the harbor. Devoted father of Thomas J. and his wife, H. Susan, Atwood of Wilton, Robert and his wife, Donna, of Lunenburg, Mass., and Michele Woodruff and her husband, Dr. William Woodruff, of Coopersburg, Pa.; brother of William of Schenectady, N.Y., Francis of Brewster, N.Y., and the late John, Ruth Handverger, Mary Duhamel, Rita White and Lillian Bison.
