It’s about time that we elect a woman governor. Maine is fortunate to have a qualified candidate (a woman) for governor.
Libby Mitchell is the only woman in the country who has served as the state Senate president and the Speaker of the House. This clearly tells me that she does not need on-the-job training. Considering the current economic situation, she is ready to lead on day one.
It is time to elect Libby Mitchell and give women their respected place in government. She has paid her dues in public service.
Think about your mother, daughters, sisters and wife. Don’t they deserve to be represented by a woman in today’s world?
I hope others join me in voting for Libby Mitchell for governor.
