PORTLAND — HealthInfoNet recently hired Kimberly Bustamante of Poland as manager of administration and finance.

Bustamante was most recently with the Maine Center for Public Health in Augusta, where she served as director of finance and administration, responsible for all administrative operations, including finance, information technology and human resources.

Her prior professional experience ranges from managing an office for a manufacturing company to working with employee benefits in the insurance industry. She earned bachelor degrees in accounting and business administration from Husson University.

Bustamante resides in Poland with her husband and their two children.

HealthInfoNet is a Portland-based, independent, nonprofit organization advancing the meaningful use of health information technology to improve patient care quality and safety. The organization’s core function is the management of a secure electronic network, called a health information exchange, where health care providers can share important medical information on their patients.
