MEXICO — Marion A. “Banan” Sinclair, 76, died Sunday, Aug. 22, at her residence on Ledgeview Street in Mexico, with her family by her side.

She was born in Rumford on Dec. 17, 1933, the daughter of Arthur and Karlenne (Powers) Poland, and had attended Stephens High School in Rumford.

She enjoyed knitting, gardening and traveling on their Harley-Davidson cross  country with her husband.

She was married in Mexico on April 11, 1959, to Thomas E. Sinclair, who survives, of Mexico. Other survivors include sons, Ricky Sinclair and wife, Maria, of Peru, and Wayne Sinclair of Mexico; grandchildren, Stephen Jeselskis of Mexico, and Miss Ricki Sinclair of Dixfield; siblings, Daveene Myers, Davis “Buster” Poland and wife, Mary, Ellen “Peeney” Stacey, Karlenne “Honey” Page and partner, Mark Kimball, Jo “Joey” Powers, Larry Brayall and wife, Jackie, Glenna Burton and husband, Larry, and Dan Brayall; and her pet dog, “Louie.”

She was predeceased by her parents and sons, Michael and Stephen Sinclair.
