LEWISTON – The At-Risk Committee of the Lewiston/Auburn Alliance for Services to the Homeless is sponsoring a resource fair and shoe giveaway from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Friday, Aug. 27, at Kennedy Park.
The purpose of the fair is to give information about services that are available to people who are homeless or at risk. Also, Lamey-Wellehan will be distributing gently-used shoes. This event will be held rain or shine.
Other agencies that may be present are SeniorsPlus, the Department of Health and Human Services, Healthy Androscoggin, Catholic Charities, Salvation Army, Common Ties and many more.
