MEXICO — Norman A. Hutchinson, 50, of Granite St., Mexico, died unexpectedly Wednesday at Franklin Memorial Hospital, Farmington.

 Born in Rumford on Aug. 10, 1960, he was a son of Norman Robichaud and Lloye “Jean” Richmond. He was a high school graduate and he also attended CMVTI in Auburn. He was a self-employed oil burner technician for several years and owned and operated “Norm’s Basement Pawn Shop” in Rumford for many years.

He was married May 19, 1987 to Rita Mary Jones, who survives, of Mexico. Other survivors include his father and stepmother, Norman and Isabelle Robichaud of Mexico; a son, Anthony True of Florida and Maine; four stepdaughters, Andrea Cofferen and fiancé, Jordan Wagner of Bath, Lynn Gagnon of Windham, Angie Ames of Windham and Ann Jenson of Hendersonville, N.C.; two stepsons, James Jones of Windham and Sam Cofferen of Wells; his stepfather, James Richmond of Lewiston; six step-grandchildren; a sister, Melissa Erskin of Dixfield; and several nephews.

He was predeceased by his mother, Lloye “Jean” Richmond and a brother, Cecil “Chip” Hutchinson.
