AUBURN — Jean Paul Poulin 75, of 134 South Main St., Auburn, died Sunday, Aug. 29, at the Androscoggin Hospice House following a long illness.

Born in Lewiston, March 11, 1935, a son of the late Albert and Marie Louise Frechette Poulin, he was educated in Lewiston schools.

He served in the U.S. Army during the Korean Conflict and was married to the former Mariette Therrien, June 24, 1961. She died Dec. 1, 2007. He was employed at Pioneer Plastic as a fabricator, retiring in 2000.

Mr. Poulin was a member of the Immaculate Heart of Mary Parish and enjoyed playing cards and beano. He loved his family and spending time with his family.

Jean Paul will be remembered for generosity and love for his family.

He is survived by his daughters, Pauline Kelly of Virginia, Lorraine Jordan and husband, John, of Auburn; a son, Pierre “Pete” Poulin and his wife, Heather, of Benton; his grandchildren, Greg, Andrew, Zachary, Eric, Mathieu and Karen; a brother, Robert Poulin of Lewiston.
