LEWISTON — The Senior College “Food for Thought” luncheon program at USM/Lewiston-Auburn will return for the fall season on Friday, Sept. 10, with a performance by the Senior Readers’ Theatre Group, an offshoot of the Auburn Community Little Theatre.

The group, formed by ACLT veteran Janet Gibson, travels to local nursing homes and senior residence facilities to entertain residents by reading a series of short skits. Appearing at the luncheon will be Barbara Randall, Pearl Sawyer, June Spear, Bob Gardner, Naomi York, Janet Gibson, Joel Goodman, Rachel Morin, Irma Penn and Norm Davis.

The skits to be presented are The Committee, Break in the Action and My Brother Victor.

Senior College presents the monthly noon luncheon in the Function Room 170 at USM LAC. The cost, which includes lunch, is $7 with advance reservation or $8 at the door, opening at 11:30 a.m.

Reservations must be made no later than noon Thursday, Sept. 9, by phone at 753-6510. Any late callers will be considered as “at the door.”
