LEWISTON — Massachusetts musicians Mark Mandeville and Raianne Richards will play Friday, Sept. 3, at She Doesn’t Like Guthries in Lewiston. The duo performs folk and country music, sharing close vocal harmonies and strictly acoustic accompaniment on six-string guitar, ukulele, banjo, tin whistle and harmonica. Mandeville and Richards are known primarily for their collaboration in the conceptually based folk trio The Accident That Led Me To The World.

On Saturday, Sept. 4, The New York Funk Exchange will bring its combination of funk, soul, R&B, jazz and original arrangements and dynamic rhythms to the restaurant/cafe.

Members are Lewiston native Serena Fortier, vocals; Ray Holman, drums and vocals; Matt Fox, bass guitar; Jamey Zebrack, keys and vocals; Matty G, guitar; Mozard Pierre-Jacques, trombone; Mike Farrell , saxophone; and Nick Martino, trumpet.

Formed in 2007, the New York Funk Exchange hails from Brooklyn, N.Y., and has been performing in the Northeast ever since.
