JAY — The 60th class reunion of the Jay High School Class of 1950 was held Aug. 20, at LaFleur’s Restaurant.

Following the social hour and luncheon, a class meeting was called to order by chairwoman Anita Marchetti, who reported news from former classmate William Ouellette of California. Maurice Ouellette, emcee, read the names of the 12 classmates who have died and a moment of silence was held.

Priscillien Henry entertained the class with a wooden dancing man. Adrian Legere, who was unable to attend, donated eight of his original paintings as gifts. Other gifts baskets were also raffled.

Attending were Maurice and Ann Ouellette, Robert and Armance Rich, Priscillien and Elaine Henry, Gerard and Bertha Pomerleau, Clarendon “Bing” and Nancy Crosby, Eddy and Terry Legere, Normand and Barbara Ouellette, Olive Dubord, Rene Labbe, Anita Marchetti, Maurice Duguay and Aline Fournier.
