POLAND — Person to Person, a series of potluck suppers/programs sponsored by Friends of Ricker Library, will open the season on Sunday, Sept. 12, from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. in the Ricker Library community room.
The potluck supper offers a time for all to share a meal and conversation, person to person. Participants are asked to bring a casserole, salad or dessert for the table.
Where the Wind Takes Us, an illustrated cruise of the Maine Coast, will be presented following the supper. Poland resident Don Stover, who has sailed on the coast of Maine for more than 35 years, will present. His pictures and stories will demonstrate that for beauty and interest there is no match for the coast of Maine.
All are welcome to participate in the supper and program event.
