PORTLAND, Maine (AP) — The co-owner of an organic snack food company in Maine is facing charges federal charges after drug agents allegedly caught him with two duffel bags filled with 64 pounds of marijuana.

Seth Leaf Pruzansky, of Durham, is free on bond following his Sept. 27 arrest in Portland. According to court documents, U.S. Drug Enforcement Administration agents arrested him after seeing him load the duffel bags into his vehicle.

The 35-year-old Pruzansky, who goes by the name Seth Leaf, and his brother started Living Nutz raw food company in 2002. By 2008, their products were being sold in more than 600 stores in the U.S. and Canada.

Richard Berne, Pruzansky’s lawyer, told the Portland Press Herald that it was premature for him to comment about the case.
