After 12 years as pastor of the Danville Union Church, Dodi Knights of Poland, left, has retired from active ministry. She still works on the switchboard at St. Mary’s Hospital in Lewiston. The Rev. Doris Miller, right, has been called as the new minister. She resides in Portland, but she plans to get out into the community to serve the needs of Danville. She has already made many new friends in the area and looks forward to the church growing in the community. Danville Union Church meets for worship at 9:30 a.m. Sundays. All are welcome.
