PHILLIPS — The Phillips-Strong Lions Club will hold its first-ever auction on Saturday, Nov. 6, at the Phillips Elementary School on Route 4.

Club member David Morgan, who helped raise money for United Way in Farmington for many years, has been working to acquire interesting and sought-after donations for the auction. Items can be seen in the front window of the Phillips Hardware store on Main Street.

An auction preview will be held at 5 p.m. on Saturday, with the auction starting at 6 p.m. Members of the Phillips eighth grade class will sell food at the event. All proceeds will be used to benefit community projects.

For more information or to make a donation, contact Morgan at 639-3717.
