Hebron 5, Kents Hill 1

HEBRON — Jie Chen notched a pair of goals as Hebron defeated Kents Hill 5-1 in boys’ soccer action Saturday afternoon.

Kendrew Poon converted a relay from Ibrahim Moustapher just three minutes into the game to give the Lumberjacks an early lead.

Goalie Zach Taylor made five saves for Kents Hill, while Brad Geismar turned away four for Hebron in the winning effort.

Kents Hill 5, Hebron 2

HEBRON — Alex Carlbom recorded a hat trick as Kents Hill took a 5-2 victory over Hebron in girls’ soccer action Saturday afternoon.

Carlbom posted the first three goals of the contest and assisted on the fourth first-half goal to put the Huskies (7-4-1) up 4-0 at the midpoint.

Emily Wyman assisted on an own goal and scored a long range shot just under the crossbar for the Lumberjacks (6-3-2) in the second half.

Holderness 55, Hebron 0

HEBRON — Quarterback Mac Caputi passed for a pair and ran for a pair of touchdowns as Holderness routed Hebron 55-0 in football action Saturday afternoon.

The Bulls (3-3) put two points on the board in the first quarter on a safety, credited to Tom Bobotus. Bobotus also contributed a 37-yard run to open the third quarter.

Gordie Borek rounded out the scoring in the fourth quarter for Holderness with a blocked kick in the end zone.

Field Hockey

Hebron 0,

Kimball Union 0

HEBRON — Despite Kimball Union Academy outshooting Hebron by a margin of 14-3 in field hockey action Saturday afternoon, the matchup ended in an overtime 0-0 tie.

Goalie Mariah Mosher made 14 saves for the Lumberjacks (3-4-2), while Kelly Casey turned away three shots for Kimball Union (4-5-3).
