AUBURN — The Saint Dominic Academy Athletic Hall of Fame recently honored former alumni who have achieved athletic excellence throughout their careers at St. Dom’s.

The Lifetime Achievement Award was given posthumously to Diane Jalbert Robitaille, class of 1969. The Athletic Hall of Fame Inductees were Raymond Bedard, class of 1947, and Erica Dorso, class of 2004.

The State Champion New England Runner-up Recognition Award was presented to the 1961 Hockey Team. The members of the team were: Bert Belisle, Leo Bergeron (deceased), Norm Berube, Dudley Caron, Alexis Cote, Phil Dube, Maurice Ducharme, Ray Duchette, Paul Doucette, Richard Goulet, Ron Jalbert, Pete Lacasse, Andy Lachance, Richard Lecompte, Bert Ouellette, Mike Parent, Richard Provencher, Richard Raymond, George Rouleau (deceased), Roger Sinclair, Charles Stevens (deceased) and assistant coach Andy Gagne. 

The dinner and awards ceremony was hosted by the St. Dom’s Alumni Association. Attendees enjoyed a social hour followed by dinner, catered by Dad’s Place.

“It is always an honor to meet our esteemed St. Dom’s Alumni,” said Principal Donald Fournier. “This event allows us to remember those that have created the great traditions of our school.”
