LEWISTON — Liliette P. Moulin, 88, passed away on Sunday, Dec. 19, at Marshwood Health Care Center, where she had been a resident for the last year and a half.

The only daughter of Henri and Virginie Lemay St. Clair, she was born in Lewiston on July 3, 1922. She was educated at St. Peter’s School and lived in Lewiston until she was married. On May 31, 1947, she married Joseph Moulin and moved to a house they built in New Auburn, where she lived happily throughout her married life. Throughout all of her adult life, she was a communicant of St. Louis Church.

Until her retirement in 1984, she was employed at Ward Bros., in the later years as manager of the millinery department.

While she enjoyed working part-time after her children were in school, she spent her life primarily as a dedicated mother of three daughters and full-time homemaker. A self-proclaimed homebody by nature, she loved her home, enjoyed watching her favorite soap opera, and spent countless hours on her sun porch, where in the last years she would simply pass the time watching the world go by.

Liliette spent most of her time with her devoted husband. Prior to her illness, she had a strong interest in all things medical and was an avid reader of anything pertaining to medical topics. She was often the first person her family members consulted when needing any kind of medical advice.

Survivors include her loving husband, Joseph; three daughters and sons-in-law, Lucy and Jon Guay and Anita and Maurice Dube, all of Lewiston, and Denise and John Ricchio of Portland; one brother and his wife, Raymond and Lorraine St. Clair of Gorham; four grandsons, Jon C. Guay and his wife, Beth, of Poland, Ryan Guay and his wife, Kimberly, of Lewiston, Joseph Dube of Quebec City, Canada, and Daniel Dube of Washington D.C.. She was also the great-grandmother of Colby, Jonah, and Ariana Guay of Lewiston.

She was predeceased by her parents and two brothers, Henri and Maurice.
