LEWISTON — Noella A. Gilbert, 86, formerly of 140 Ash St., died Dec. 29, at d’Youville Pavilion.

She was born in Lewiston on July 24, 1924, the daughter of Arthur and Rose Aime (Nadeau) Lagrange.

She was the widow of Maurice Gilbert, whom she married on April 8, 1943, and who died on July 23, 1987. She worked for many years in various local shoe shops. She loved playing bingo, going out to eat, shopping, and especially loved being with her family at family get-togethers.

She is survived by three daughters, Jeannine Burnham, Connie Beaulieu and husband, Roland, all of Lisbon Falls, and Sandra Freve and husband, Gerard, of Buckfield; seven grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; and four step great-grandsons; her sister, Fleurette Doyon of Auburn; her brother, Laurier Lagrange and wife, Germaine, of Lewiston; by several sister-in-laws; and many nieces and nephews.

She was predeceased by her parents; five brothers; and three sisters; her granddaughter, Tina Marie Beaulieu; and her son-in-law, Stanley Burnham.
