Auburn firefighter Stephen Coombs looks at the damage caused when a 2009 Ford Focus driven by Laurel McKeen, 29, of Mechanic Falls ran into a house at Hotel and Youngs Corner roads Friday afternoon. Auburn police officer Steve Hammerton said McKeen apparently lost control of the car. She was taken to Central Maine Medical Center in Lewiston with minor injuries to her wrist, finger and head. Her husband, Renne, had only a minor cut. Their car was totaled. The unoccupied house had about $25,000 damage, Hammerton said.
