A recent U.S. Department of Education report shows that students attending for-profit schools and colleges are more likely to default on their student loans than those attending non-profit colleges and universities. Maine statistics tell the same story.
We want to interview Mainers who have defaulted on their student loans, or having difficulty paying the loans back, especially if you attended a for-profit school or college. Locally two of those non-profits include Kaplan University, formerly Andover College, and Mr. Bernard’s School of Hair Fashion.
