NORTH JAY — Funeral services for Wesley O. Lane were held Thursday, Jan. 6, at the Wiles Remembrance Center, Wilton, with Rhonda Wiles-Rosell as celebrant. Mitch Thomas offered a eulogy. Special music included the Anne Murray rendition of “In The Garden,” “I Saw the Master this Morning” by Bill Harrell and “One More Day” by Diamond Rio.” The previous evening, members of Wilton Masonic Lodge #156 honored him with the funeral ritual of the Masonic Order. At the conclusion of the funeral service, full military honors were presented by Camp Keyes, Augusta. Following services, a family reception and comfort meal was held at the new Masonic Lodge in East Wilton. Winter entombment at the funeral home. Spring burial at Birchland Cemetery, North Jay.
