Tom and Leslie Morrill of Auburn give their 2½-year-old grandson Presley a ride during the Leavitt Hornet Classic Nordic ski race at Leavitt Area High School in Turner on Saturday. More than 300 high school athletes competed in the 5K race, which got a huge boost from Wednesday’s snowstorm.
