LISBON FALLS — Linda Morse, owner and director of Morse Zoo Preschool in Lisbon Falls, has been named to the Maine Registry by Maine Roads To Quality: Early Education Career Development Center at the Muskie School.

The registry recognizes Morse’s experience, training, education and volunteer contributions to the early childhood profession. Morse will be required to document ongoing annual training in child care and early education to remain active on the registry. The registry is voluntary and is designed to promote high quality early education for young children and their families.

Morse is a graduate of University of Maine at Augusta with a bachelor of science degree in human services and a concentration in early childhood. She also recently received a bachelor of science degree in holistic nutrition studies from Clayton College of Natural Health. She has been a preschool teacher for 11 years and is a licensed massage therapist, Reiki practitioner and holistic health consultant.

Morse is currently in the process of expanding her facility to include a child care center in Lisbon. Staff will include Kara Perkins as assistant director and head teacher; other head teachers Laurel Bean, Bethany Haines, Chelsea Landry and Jennifer Willey.
