FARMINGTON — No one was hurt but one driver took a wild ride going airborne over a snowbank and through the snow Monday on Routes 2 and 4.

Raymond Henri, 85, of Livermore was traveling east when he collided with a vehicle driven by Glen Meisner, 57, of Farmington, who was exiting the Walmart lot, said Farmington Police officer Darin Gilbert.

Henri struck the front right of Meisner’s car then veered right, hitting a small snowbank that sent his car airborne over the embankment and into the field just before Sandy River Realty, Gilbert said.

Henri received a summons for failing to stop at a red light, Gilbert said.

Henri was driving a red 1997 Ford Escort that was towed from the field by Collins Wrecker. Gilbert said it was still drivable.

Meisner was driving a  2001 Pontiac Grand Prix and received some damage around the right front headlight. He drove the vehicle from the scene.

Members of Farmington Fire and Rescue responded and helped with traffic.
