Brady and Sasha Pollard display the stand-up washcloth snowmen they crafted during Paris Public Library’s After School Program. After listening to “Learning to Ski with Mr. Magee” by Maine author Chris Van Dusen, snowmen were made with white terry washcloths, polyester filling, felt, pipe cleaners and parts of old stockings. No sewing was required. The After School Program is held at 4 p.m. Mondays. January sessions will revolve around snow stories with follow-up snow activities and Grimm’s Fairy Tales with follow-up activities in honor of Jacob Grimm’s January birthday. All are welcome.
