RUMFORD — Carol F. Bellegarde, 69, died Sunday, Jan. 23, at her residence on Kerr St. in Rumford, with her loving family by her side.

Born in Rumford on Oct. 13, 1941, she was a daughter of the late Louis and Jennie (Tambourino) Simboli. She was a graduate of Stephens High School in Rumford. She worked at the Rumford Hospital, W.T. Grants, Mount Zircon Soda Co., D.H.H.S., and also did private bookkeeping. She enjoyed her trips to Foxwoods.

She was married in Rumford on June 25, 1960 to Reginald Bellegarde, who survives, of Rumford. Other survivors include a son, David Bellegarde and his wife, Beth, of Rumford; a daughter, Sheila Bellegarde and her partner, Kurt Feiereisen, of Rumford; grandchildren, Garrett Cowett of Oregon, Gabrielle Bellegarde of Vermont, David and Stephanie Bellegarde, II, of Virginia, Dylan Bellegarde of Rumford, Matthew Bellegarde of Rumford; great-grandchildren, Trevor and Tori Bellegarde, of Mexico.
