RUMFORD — The American Legion Auxiliary will host a “Super Benefit” Saturday, Feb. 19, at the Legion, 184 Congress St. A spaghetti supper will be held from 4 to 7 p.m., with adults $7 and children $5. Bake sale items will be available.

The band Fair Enough (Randy Deroche, Michelle Johnson, Tony Umbro, Mark Steele and Mike Arsenault) has donated time and will play from 8 p.m. to midnight. Cost is $10 a person. Proceeds will be used to send items to local troops through the Comforts From Home program.

The program sends care packages to local deployed troops and those who are serving overseas. The cost for mailing the packages has increased to $12.95 each. Donations to fill the packages trickle in and more are sought.

A Chinese auction will also be held. The following is a list of items that would help the cause: gift certificates, baskets, items for the bake sale and cash donations.
