LEWISTON — The 39th annual LAYHL Lions Hockey Tournament, one of the longest running youth hockey tournaments in the country, is scheduled for Feb. 19-25.

More than 50 games and skills competitions are scheduled with nearly 20 teams from LAYHL, Auburn and Casco Bay youth hockey organizations participating. The main sponsor for the tournament is The Fortin Group.

All games will be played at the Androscoggin Bank Colisee during February school vacation. Opening ceremonies are slated for Feb. 19 at 9 a.m. with the traditional parade of teams.

The LAYHL Lions tournament offers exciting hockey action from Atoms (age 4) through Bantams (13/14). There will be a raffle table with many valuable items to be given away. This years raffles feature a grand prize of a 40-inch Sony Bravia LCD 1080p flat screen HDTV.
