LEWISTON — Mu Chapter of Delta Kappa Gamma welcomed two new members at their January meeting. Tamara Jorgensen and Esther Pelletier were escorted in to the ceremony by Rhonda Fournier and Jean Roy and the initiation was performed by vice president Lynette Heath and president Eileen Bowie.
Tammy Jorgensen has a in literacy. She has taught for 14 years and currently teaches English at Lewiston High School. She is a member of the National Council of Teachers of English and the International Reading Association. She has earned endorsements in literacy, secondary education English and adult education.
Esther Pelletier is an English teacher at Lewiston High School who has been a professional educator for 19 years and has earned a Master of Education degree in integrated technology. She has served as a local assessment leadership team member, a liaison committee member, Standard Chair in Instruction for New England Schools and Colleges Reaccreditation Process and secretary of her church.
